Rodney E. Herring, 73, of Littlestown, died Tues, April 14, in Littlestown. He was the widower of Eileen A. (Crouse) Herring who died Jan 27, 2007. Born July 2, 1941 in Emmitsburg, MD, he was the son of the late Peter D. & Lulu (Andrew) Herring. He was a 1959 Emmitsburg High School graduate and was in the Army National Guard for 6 years. Rodney was employed with 3M National Advertising of Westminster for 36 years of service.



Surviving are 3 daughters; a brother Donald A. Herring & wife, Vonnie, of Taneytown and 3 sisters: Gloria A. Eyler & husband, Richard, of Hanover; Thelma J. Byard & husband, Terry, of Hagerstown, MD and Sharon K. Keilholtz of Chambersburg.



Funeral Service is Monday, April 20, at 11 A.M.at Little's Funeral Home, Littlestown with The Rev. Sterling Fritz & Rev. Ted Bowers officiating. The family will receive friends 10 –11 A.M. Monday at the funeral home. Interment is in Mount Carmel Cemetery, Littlestown. Memorials in Rodney's name may be sent to his church at 107 E. King St., Littlestown, PA 17340.
