Katherine “Betsy” White Bouldin, died Saturday April 5th at RiverLanding. Born April 29, 1916 in High Point she is a daughter of the late Cephas Allen White and Nellie Lineback White. Mrs. Bouldin graduated from High Point High School, now High Point Central, and Lottie Barber Business School. She worked at Wachovia Bank as a bookkeeper and retired from Arnold Craven. She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church and at the time of her death was the longest continuing member in the church. Mrs. Bouldin was a former member of the Double M Club, bridge clubs and the American Red Cross and served as a Gray Lady at the hospital. She married George Sidney Bouldin on December 8, 1942 and he preceded her in death on September 15, 1986. She was also preceded in death by her parents and two sisters, Mrs. Harry (Nancy) Rothrock, Jr. and Mrs. William (Billie) Walrath.
Surviving is a son Reverend Sid Bouldin and wife Joan Bouldin of Wausau, Wisconsin, two grandchildren, Brandy B. Smith and husband Al Smith and George Rockford “Rocky” Bouldin and three great grandchildren, Felicity Love Smith, Elizabeth Smith and Otis Smith. She is also survived by a niece Nancy Rothrock, Jr. and nephews, Alan, John and Doug Rothrock, Vernon Ray Parrish, Tom Bouldin and Dale Bouldin along with other nieces and nephews.
Funeral services for Mrs. Bouldin will be held 2:00 pm Thursday in the chapel of Cumby Family Funeral Service with the Reverend Dr. Ken Broman-Fulks officiating. Interment will follow in Floral Garden Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will greet friends at the funeral home one hour prior to the service.
In lieu of flowers the family requests that memorials be given to Covenant Community Presbyterian Church, Building Fund, 1806 Weston Avenue, Schofield, Wisconsin 54476.
