JACKSON, Kathryn K. was born on April 3, 1923 to William E and Elizabeth Wilson Keath in Mt. Sterling, Kentucky. She was one girl of four children. They are named the "four double K's"; Klamath, Kendell, Katheryn and Kelvin Keath. Klamath and Kendell are now deceased. Passed Monday, April1, 2014 at 90 yrs. of age. Kathryn was graduated from Camargo High School, Mt. Sterling, Kentucky, in 1939 and from Kentucky Wesleyan College, Winchester, Kentucky in 1943. She began her teaching career at Crestwood High School, Crestwood, Kentucky and retired from teaching with 30 years of service from Fairfield Middle School, Fairfield, Ohio where she was a 6th grade teacher of Math and Science. In the meantime, she met her late husband Howard and they were married for 61 years. They have 4 sons: Keath, Douglas, Mark and Andrew; and have eight grandchildren: Joshua, Elizabeth, Abigail, Daniel, Peter, Matthew, Geoffrey and Adam. Katheryn and Howard resided in Owensville, Ohio and were members of the Owensville Methodist Church. Visitation will be at the Evans Funeral Home, 1944 State Route 28, Goshen, Ohio, Thursday, April 3rd from 6:00 PM until 8:00PM. Funeral Services in the Funeral Home on Friday, April 4th at 11:00AM. Pastor Mike Smith will officiate. Interment will follow at Rose Hill Burial Park. www.evansfuneralhome.com
