ACKLEY ENTERPRISE, Friday, January 25, 1889 "Infant child of Mr. and Mrs. W. H. Goettel died last Saturday at 12:00. It was quite sudden and entirely unexpected being sick only a few hours. A funeral took place Sunday afternoon at 3:00 oclock, services being held at the house, conducted by Rev. George Earhart. Mr. and Mrs. Goettel have the sympathy of their many friends in their sorrow."
