Walter E. Lincoln, 86, died Aug. 18, 1972 in West Pasco Hospital, New Port Richey, Fla. He was the son of Edgar and Ellen Lincoln and was born in Belvidere in 1886.
Mr. Lincoln is survived by his wife, Oma; one son, Dr. Robert Lincoln, Palo Alto, Calif.; one daughter, Mrs. Virginia Schmidt, Rockford; eight grandchildren; and three greatgrandchildren.
Mr. Lincoln was a rural mail carrier in the Belvidere area for 37 years.
