daughter of Jasper Noah and Lula Olive (East) Kennemore. Maxine passed away on Thursday, April 9, 2015 at her residence surrounded by her loved ones.
She met and married her sweetheart, Artie Ray Flowers on April 20, 1953 in Erick, Oklahoma. He preceded her in
death on April 20, 2001 Maxine enjoyed sewing, planting flowers, and gardening along with fixing up her house but most of all she loved spending time with her family and friends.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, April 11, 2015 at Texola Baptist Church in Texola, Oklahoma. Pastor Charlie Floyd will officiate. Interment will be at Erick Cemetery, Erick, Oklahoma. Services are under the direction of Martin-Dugger Funeral Home in Elk City, Oklahoma.
She is survived by her three daughters, Abby Crosby and her husband, Preston of Yukon, Oklahoma, Kathy Allen of Yukon,Oklahoma and Crystal Flowers of Erick, Oklahoma; six sons, Curtis Flowers and his wife, Pam of Erick, Oklahoma, Cletis Flowers and his wife, Patty of Shamrock, Texas, Randall Flowers and his wife, Storm, Daran Flowers, Audie Flowers and his wife, Kim and Shelby
Flowers and his wife, Missy all of Erick, Oklahoma; twenty-seven grandchildren; twenty six great-Grandchildren; brother, Haskell Kennemore of Erick, Oklahoma; sister, Phyllis Geraldine Hargrove of Del City, Oklahoma, numerous other family and friends. Maxine is preceded in death her husband, Artie Flowers; son,Mark Flowers; parents, Jasper and Lula Kennemore; brothers,
David Kennemore and Noah Kennemore.
