GALVESTON — Verle L. Northcutt of Galveston, Texas passed away April 12, 2005, at the home of dear friends. Verle was born November 25, 1918.

She is preceded in death by her loving husband, Howard, and son, Howard F. Northcutt.

She is survived by one brother, Dr. Byron Bernard of Park Hills, Kentucky; two grandchildren, Beth Joehl and husband of Baytown, Brian Northcutt and wife of Carrollton, Texas; dear friends Kay and Thomas Rodriguez of Santa Fe and Shirley Dougherty of Galveston as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

Special thanks is extended to the Hospice Care Team, Inc. of Texas City, especially Margaret Mikalastik, Linda Feth, Angela Oyer, Doris Bennett and Anne G. Proctor who were so wonderfully helpful and kind during Verle's last days.

Visitation will be held at Malloy & Son Funeral Home on Wednesday, April 13, 2005, after 5 p.m. with funeral services to be held on Thursday, April 14, 2005, at Central Christian Church, 2702 O-1/2 St., Galveston, at 1 p.m. Interment will follow at Forest Park East Cemetery in League City, Texas.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hospice Care Team, Inc., 1708 Amburn, Suite C, Texas City, Texas 77591.
