Willis Edmondson, 77, Monroe, died Sept. 18, 1982.
He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Tommie Dee Hanson Edmondson, daughter: Mrs. Margaret Ramey, Bethlehem; sons; Eddie T. Edmondson, Social Circle; John H. Edmondson, Atlanta; Julius Edmondson, Monroe; Carlton Edmondson, Monroe; brother: Luther Hale, Porterdale; 17 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren.
A native of Walton County, he was the son of the late Ed and Molly Brown Edmondson. He was a member of Mt. Vernon Christian Church.
Funeral services were held Sept. 20, 3 p.m., from the Chapel of Meadows Funeral Home. Rev. William J. Tyre officiated. Interment was in Social Circle City Cemetery. Pallbearers were Buddy Daniel, Douglas Edmondson, Wendell Pitts, Louis Edmondson, Wayne Hanson, and James Edmondson.
Meadows Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.
