Mary Bell of Bedford died July 24, 1997, at her residence.

She was born June 3, 1907, in Washington Co., IN, the daughter of Thomas and Effie (Trinkle) Black. She married Estill Bell in 1923, and he preceded her in death.

Surviving are one daughter: Mrs. Norval (Maxine) Robbins of Bedford; one son: Wayne Bell of LaPorte, IN; ten grandchildren; eighteen great grandchildren; and nine great great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by two sisters: Sudie Elliott and Ruth Pennington; three brothers: John, Orville, and Ross Black; one granddaughter; and one great granddaughter.

She was a member of First Christian Church and was a homemaker.

Burial will be in Green Hill Cemetery.
