Surviving are her sisters, Suzanne d'Aversa of Latham, Connie Fedden (Chris) of Albany, Linda Moore (John) of Pittsboro, NC and brother, James Archer of Marion, VA. Also surviving are her nieces and nephews, Cheryl Fruiterman (David), David d'Aversa, Jon-Paul d'Aversa, and Marea Wright (Ken) all from Albany, Michael Moore (Tara), Andrew Moore, Daniel Moore, Bradley Archer, Rachel Archer, all from North Carolina, and Jerry Archer from Florida. Alice also leaves behind her beloved cat, Jasmine.
Alice was a graduate of Shaker High School and Hudson Valley CC. She was a long time resident of Troy, a city she loved. Alice loved people and was always looking for ways to help others, especially those who faced many challenges. She also adored her 8 great nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held at 3pm on Wednesday, May 6, 2015 at the Lutheran Church of the Resurrection in Latham. Interment was in Memory Gardens. Alice requested that memorials should benefit your local Humane Society, the Lutheran Church of the Resurrection, or the Rubin Dialysis Centers.
