This part of the Bio is written by my cousin George Christensen Williams nephew: The co/captains of the 1949 undefeated weymouth high school football team, from the left my uncle William "Tweedy" Ahlstedt and to the right center Bob Perrow. Also referred to as "Billy" or "Little Tweedy"(my uncle Albert "Junie" Ahlstedt class of 42 was "Big Tweedy"), he was one of the best running backs to don the maroon and gold jersey of Weymouth High School. This was evident by being named to every all-scholastic team in the Boston papers and Quincy Patriot Ledger as well being inducted into the Weymouth High School Athletic Hall Of Fame. He had a few COLLEGE offers, but declined because he felt his vocational school education would be a detriment to obtaining a college degree. He continued playing football after his graduation in 1950 for the powerhouse semi-pro Whitman Town Team coached by the legendary W.H.S. coach Harry Arlanson who served as head coach for both W.H.S. on Saturdays and the Whitman T.T. on Sundays. The Whitman roster was comprised of mostly Weymouth alumni.
