My Great Aunt Fleta can be remembered mostly by having a smile on her face almost always! And she was very sweet. So was her husband, Great Uncle 'Bert', and he smiled a lot too. She was the last one born before her Mother died in child birth, along with the infant, in 1898. Her Step-Mother Elizabeth Jane Miller married Fleta's Father, Charles Harding Clanton, on December 12, 1912. Fleta, her sister Flossie and brother Dale went to live with her older brother Gova B. Clanton after he was married in 1906 (to Laura Mae Barham/Clanton). Pic posted is post wedding with an already made family. Fleta Clanton and Charles Robert McCleeary were married July 22, 1915 in Indianala, IA.
