Bernice H. Keehn

Mrs. Jack W. Keehn, 79, a resident of the Vintage Manor died May 18, 1996, at the manor. Mrs. Keehn was a clerk at Stanley Jewelry at Emporia before she retired.

Bernice H. Herrick, the daughter of Cal Addison Sr. and Zola Pearl Love Herrick, was born April 7, 1917, at Canton. She married Jack W. Keehn on July 28, 1951, at Bentonville, Ark. He died Nov. 3, 1990.

Mrs. Keehn was a member of the Flint Hills Christian Church and several prayer groups at the church. She also was a member of the Founders Circle garden Club and the Prairie Lane extension home unit.

She is survived by a daughter, LuAnn Fields of Winston-Salem, N.c,; and four granddaughters, Jamie Loucks, Kindra Loucks, Alex Fields and Amanda Fields. Three brothers, Bill Herrick, Carl Herrick Jr., and John O. Herrick, died earlier.

Cremation has taken place. The memorial service will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday in Flint Hills Christian Church.

The family asks that in lieu of flowers memorial contributions to the church be sent in care of Roberts-Blue-Barnett Funeral Home.
