John R. Lettsome “Dick” RACINE – John R. “Dick” Lettsome, 85, passed away at Wheaton Franciscan All-Saints on Thursday, April 9, 2015. Dick was born in Racine on August 27, 1929 to John and Gertrude (nee, Gulbrandson) Lettsome. He served in the U.S. Marine Corp during the Korean War. He married the former Josephine Anzalone. Dick was a partner in Triple J construction and retired from Bukacek Construction. He loved baseball and bowling but most of all golf. During retirement he and Jo enjoyed four trips to Europe. Survivors include his wife, Josephine Lettsome; sister-in-law, Minnie D’Alie; brother-in-law, Milton Knauer; nieces and nephews, Anthony & Karen D’Alie, Ceclia and Randy Bagley, John and Roseanne Lease, Vincent and Terri D’Alie, Billy and Karen Knauer, Jennifer Meronek, and Michael Knauer; grandnieces and grandnephews, Vinnie D’Alie, RaeLin D’Alie, Jenna D’Alie, Ole and Amber D’Alie, Sam and Britani D’Alie, Angela D’Alie, Milton Knauer, Ericka and Nick Pudenz, Brian and Jen Purdy, Gina Verbeten, Dana and Josh Brinkerhoff, Ryan and Sunshine Lease, Alex and Tara Lease, Mason Bagley, Matthew D’Alie and Michael D’Alie. Dick is also survived by many dear friends. Funeral services for Dick will be held at the funeral home on Tuesday, April 14, 2015 at 11 a.m. with Fr. Ricardo Martin officiating. Entombment will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery, Hwy 32. Relatives and friends may meet with the family at the funeral home on Tuesday morning from 10 a.m. until the time of the service at 11 a.m. Memorials may be directed to Sacred Heart Parish.
