Born on Sept. 29, 1935, in Harrisburg, he was a son of the late Samuel W. and Sara Lee Parker Creek, and the widower of Doris Marie McKinney Creek, who died in June 2006.
Paul retired from Bethlehem Steel with 35 years of service in the foundry, and was a member of the local steelworkers union.
He was an avid gardener, who enjoyed planting various plants throughout his yard. Paul's greatest joy in life was spending time with his family.
Surviving are his daughter, Marie Reed of Carlisle; a brother, Samuel Creek of Harrisburg; five grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and two sister-in-laws, Helen Louise Barrick of Clearwater, Fla., and Martha Trimmer of Carlisle. Paul was preceded in death by his son, Paul P. Creek Jr., and a sister, Sara Elizabeth Esworthy.
Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday in Cumberland Valley Memorial Gardens, Carlisle, with Chaplain Betty Fundalewicz officiating. There will be no viewing or visitation.
Hoffman-Roth Funeral Home and Crematory, 219 N. Hanover St., Carlisle, is in charge of the funeral arrangements.
