Denny L. Munn, 57, of 637 Meadowsweet Drive, Corte Madera, a resident of Marin County since 1942, died early today at a local hospital after 3 months illness.
Munn retired as a baggage clerk at Greyhound LInes in San Francisco about 3 years ago after suffering a stroke. He had been employed there 13 years.
During World War II, he worked at Marinship.
He leaves a his wife, Rachel Munn, a clerk in the Corte Madera Post Office for the past 10 years; a son, Sgt./1C Denny L. Munn Jr., stationed with the Army in Germany; 2 sisters, Mrs. Myrtle Hunter of Turlock and Mrs. Helen Horn of Oxnard; 2 brothers, Harold Munn of China Lake and Oral Munn of Kansas City, KS; and 3 grandchildren.
Munn was a native of Spickard, MO.
Funeral arrangements are pending the arrival of his son from Germany.
