BRISTOL, Va. Nina Trivette Elmore, age 86, passed away on Wednesday, April 8, 2015, at Bristol Regional Medical Center. Nina was a native of Bristol, Tenn. but lived 20 years in the western states travelling with her husband, Charles Elmore. 10 of those years were spent in Loveland, Colo., until June 1992, when she and her husband retired to Emory, Va. She received her Colorado Real Estate License in 1982 and was employed by Tandem Real Estate Company. Later, she returned to her first career choice of bookkeeping and was employed by Homestate Bank in Loveland, Colo. At the time of her retirement she was employed by Hewlett Packard Company in Loveland, Co. After the death of her husband, she moved to Bristol, Tenn. in 2000 and later moved to Blountville, Tenn. in 2002. She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 31 years, Charles E. Elmore Sr. in 1999. She was the youngest child of W. C. Trivette and Nannie E. Manuel Trivette. She was also preceded in death by three brothers, Ollie W. Trivette, Orville P. Trivette, and R. L. Trivette; and three sisters, Ruby Rouse, Rosa Thomas, and Lona Mae Trivette. She loved and fully trusted in God who blessed her life abundantly. Her favorite scriptures given to her by God are Romans 8:16, 8: 24-28, and Proverbs 16:9. Nina loved the Church of God and attended First Church of God in Chilhowie, Va., while living in Emory, Va. Recently she has been blessed by her membership in the First Baptist Church in Blountville, Tenn. She is survived by her loving daughter, Judi Napier and husband Steve, of Greeneville, Tenn.; two grandchildren, Stephany Araujo and husband Danny, of Kettering, Ohio, and Nathan Napier and wife Sarah, of Washington, Ind.; and great granddaughter, Abrie Araujo of Kettering, Ohio. She was also blessed by the friendship and loving care of her special nephew, Robert Rouse and wife Priscilla. She also is survived by special niece, Edna Mae Turner; and special friends, Dick and Patty Grove and Bill and Wilma Saddler. Visitation with family will be held from 3 until 4 p.m., Saturday, April 11, 2015, at the Forest Hills Chapel of Farris Funeral Service, 19415 Lee Highway, Abingdon, VA 24210. Funeral services will follow at 4:00 p.m. with Pastor Marlin Jaynes and Pastor Clay Austin officiating. Entombment will follow in the Colonial Chapel Mausoleum of Forest Hills Memory Gardens with family members serving as pallbearers.
