Clay Leonard "Bunk" Larrimore, 82, of Young Harris, George, passed away Wednesday, April 8, 2015.

Born in Tilghman Island, Talbot County, Maryland, he was the son of the late Henry Clay and Caroline Estelle LEONARD Larrimore. He had three sisters, Mary Ann LARRIMORE Howard and Rachel Ann LARRIMORE Manning, both deceased, and Henrietta Clay LARRIMORE Inkrote, of Glen Burnie, Maryland.

Clay was a U.S. Army veteran, serving during the Korean War and was a prisoner of war during that time. He was born and raised on Tilghman Island until his father moved the family to Baltimore. Clay spent most of his life in the Baltimore area until after his divorce from Alma Lessie BOTELER Larrimore and remarriage to Deborah, when he and Deborah moved to Georgia.

Besides his wife, Clay is survived by four children, Thomas Henry Larrimore, Robert Leonard Larrimore, Cheryl Lynn LARRIMORE Rock, all by his first wife Alma, and step-daughter Gloria PUMPHREY Konick; six grandchildren, Brandon Larrimore, Colleen LARRIMORE Breedon, Nichol ROCK Sillaman, Michael Rock Jr., Leslie Konick and Stacy KONICK Gallagher; and 13 great-grandchildren.

It is not known where Clay is buried because his wife has cut off all of Clay's family and has not provided any information to them. Therefore, a memorial is being created for him in Tilghman Memorial Cemetery where Clay's parents and siblings are buried, among many other family members.
