Carol Ann (Downs) Geisert died July 15, 2013. She was under the care of Hospice and was comfortable and at peace. She was born in Toledo, Ohio, on April 24, 1935, to Alexander and Dorothy (Haupin) Downs. Carol married Paul Geisert in 1953 and lived in Texas, Florida, and Illinois before moving to Laramie in the early 1970s. She was divorced in 1976.
She is survived by her two children, Bruce Geisert, of Amissville, Va, and Elizabeth (Charles) Kirk, of Rochester, N.Y.; and her three grandsons, Spencer (Teresa), Jeffrey, and Garrett Kirk.
