Age 92, of McMurray, formerly of Carmichaels, on Monday, January 28, 2013. Beloved Husband of 65 years to Georgetta (Woodward) Breakiron; Loving Father of Esther "Sue" (Russel) Wert of Davidson, NC, Karen Page of Edinburg, PA, and Diane (David) Altieri of Canonsburg; Cherished Grandfather of Kristen (Dan) Wert Kaplan, Kimberly (Matt) Wert Schrader, Stephen (Sonya) Wert, Michael Bacorn, Tammy Bacorn, Bradley Altieri, and Stefanie Altieri; Brother of the late Grace, John, James Elmer, Alice, and Lloyd; also survived by 20 great-grandchildren, five great-great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. Rev. Breakiron served as an Ordained Minister in various communities in southwestern PA, North Dakota, and Maryland over a period of 68 years. He was a member of the Western Pennsylvania Conference of the United Methodist Church and was a past member of Masonic Lodge #513. He took great pride in the fact that he built his own retirement home with the help of his 14-year-old grandson. Funeral arrangements by BEINHAUER-BOGAN. Friends are welcome at 164 West Pike St., Canonsburg, 724-745-5810 on Friday from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. A Funeral Service will be held on Saturday at 10:30 a.m. in the First United Methodist Church of Canonsburg with Dr. Andrew Harvey officiating. Interment will be in Greenridge Memorial Park.
