Bobby was the s/o the late Nathan Parsons. He is survived by his w/o 40 years, Bonnie Parsons. He was predeceased by a brother, Jimmie Parsons. He mined coal for some 32 years, the last several with Kanawha Coal Company, before he retired. He was a member of UMWA District 17 Local 2286. He loved the outdoors, spending time in the woods digging ginseng or on a lake, fishing. He was an avid hunter and fisherman, and taught many generations to do the same.
