Mrs. Lessie Hanks Frazier, 69, Elkhorn, W. Va., died at Winchester Ind., in the home of a daughter,' Mrs. Nannie
Rutledge, Saturday, morning, September 16, 1961. She was born in Carroll County September 25, 1891.
Her husband preceded her in death in 1953, and since that
time she has made her home with a daughter, Mrs. Glen Moshier at Elkhorn.
She was a member of the Rolfe, W. Va., Pentecostal Holiness Church.
She is survived by five daughters, Mrs. Gertrude Thomason, Mrs. Ocie Bolden, Mrs. Moshier, all of McDowell County, W.Va., Mrs. Rutledge, Winchester, Ind., and Mrs. Fannie Doolin, Ridgeville, Ind. seven sons, the Rev. Dewey Frazier,
Welch, W. Va., Johnny R. Frazier, Beckley, W. Va. Lee and Harold Frazier, both of Winchester, Ind. Lester Frazier, Union City, Ind. Thomas Frazier, Farmland, Ind., and Howard Frazier, Eckman, Ind., three brothers, Charles and Otey Hanks, Woodlawn,VA, and Eddie Hanks, Martinsville, VA; three sisters, Mrs. Margie Sharpe, Woodlawn, Mrs. Cora Alexander, Sylvatus, and Mrs. Minnie Alexander, Galax; 41
grandchildren and ten great grandchildren.
Funeral services were conducted Tuesday at 2:00 p.m. in
the Rolfe, W. Va,, Pentecostal Holiness Church, by the Rev.
Paul Surface, pastor, and the Rev. Lewis Furrow, of Princeton, W. Va. Burial was in Woodlawn Cemetery, Bluefleld, W. Va.
