ARTHUR L. BOTZ SR.
Arthur L. Botz, Sr., 93, of Modesto died Friday at Casa de Modesto.
Mr. Botz was a native of Berlin, Wis. He lived in Modesto 26 years. He was a salesman for Sears, Roebuck and Co. He was an electrician for Lockheed Corp. during World War II. He was a member of Calvary Lutheran Church.
He is survived by his wife, Esther Botz of Modesto; children, Arthur L. Botz Jr. of Escalon, Barbara Mahurin and Bruce P. Botz, both of Pioneer, and Robert Owen Botz of Livermore; sisters, Betty Fosbinder of Hawaii and Ruth Jones of Urbanan Ill.; and nine grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
A memorial service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Calvary Lutheran Church. Visitation will be from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. today at the McHenry Chapel of Franklin & Downs.
