Obituary of Diane Barbre

On October 17, 2014, Diane at age 72, passed away with the comfort of her family in Puyallup, Washington. She was born on December 24, 1941 and raised in Tacoma, graduating from Lincoln High School. She met and married her husband, James R. Barbre, in 1962, who preceded her death in 2005.

During her 43 years of marriage, she raised two children, daughter Carmen M. Jensen (Doug) of Steilacoom, WA and Trent R. Barbre(Terri) of Puyallup, WA. She has 4 grandchildren Austin, Jordin, Lane and Chase.

Diane is survived by her loving sisters, Jan Flanigan of Puyallup, WA and Jeanne Guill of University Place, WA, and several nieces and nephews. Preceding her in death are her parents Theodore and Fern Anderson, her sister Carol Padilla and most recently her brother Patrick Anderson.

Diane was the best homemaker in the world! Great cook, home decorator, and co-partner in their Mobile Industrial Catering Service. She was very dedicated to her children and grandchildren, not to mention all her nieces, nephews and children's friends. Most recently, she really enjoyed watching all the music and talent shows on TV. We will miss her very much and know that now she is at peace!

A memorial service was held at the Steilacoom Town Hall on Sunday, November 2, 2014 at 1pm.
