She appeared as a window in 1870 and 1880 Census with a few of the younger children. Robert was the youngest and born about 1863. Lemuel only appears in the 1850 and 1860 Census. It is my opinion that he died during or just after the Civil War. Tennessee Marriage records at Ancestry listed Lemuel marrying Eliza P Goff on 05 June 1833. This would agree with the birth of their first child in 1834, Sarah Phillips. Three of their eldest children were listed as being born in TN.
