Mr. Davis was born in Treutlen County and was preceded in death by his parents, Hilton Davis and Agnes Brantley Davis Barwick, his wife, Betty Daniels Davis, a son, Felton Davis, sister, Lizzie Jane Hester, and step-father, Tullie Barwick. He was a retired truck driver for Florida Rock and Rincker Material.
Survivors include three children, Jane Ryals, Jeff Davis, and Deannie Davis, all of Jacksonville; brother, Melvin (Jerry) Davis of East Dublin; three grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Graveside services will be held in Red Bluff Baptist Church Cemetery at 2 p.m. Thursday, April 9.
