Mrs. Cynthia Bassett, relict of Alex Bassett, died at her late home, April 27, after a lingering and painful illness, aged 84 years. The funeral was held from the residence of Mrs. H. Bassett last Wednesday. The remains were buried at Overacker's, where lie the remains of her husband, two sons and one daughter. She was the last of her family and longed for the hour when she, too, might be called to join them upon the other shore.
