Suggested edit: Evelyn Ernestine DeLoach Frier ALLENDALE - Evelyn Ernestine DeLoach Frier, 98, passed away November 3, 2012, at National Healthcare in West Columbia. Mrs. Frier was born August 2, 1914 in Newington, GA. She was the oldest child of the late Benjamin Ryan DeLoach and Lena Loadholt DeLoach (Adams). She was a graduate of Brunson High School and Thorson Beauty School. She was a beautician for 48 years at the American Beauty Shop in Allendale, SC. She was a member of Allendale First Baptist Church and the Winsome Sunday School Class. In 2002 she moved to West Columbia, SC, staying first at Jenni-Lyn Assisted Living and the last four years at National Healthcare. Graveside services will be held Tuesday, November 6, 2012 at 3 PM at Swallow Savannah Cemetery, Bluff Rd in Allendale with Rev. Carole Holiday officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to services at Keith Smith Funeral Service, 128 Water St, Allendale, SC 29810. She is survived by two daughters, Catherine Frier Grubbs (David) of West Columbia and Dessie Frier Newman (Robert) of Mount Pleasant, SC, and one sister, Lillian A. Barnes of Wilson, NC, four granddaughters, three grandsons, and ten great-grand children. She was predeceased by one son, Roy Mahue Frier, Jr., two sisters, Lois D. Rivers and Jeraldine A. Thomas, and one brother, Joseph Brantley DeLoach. "Her children rise up and call her blessed" (Prov 31:28a) and praise God for her!
