She was born on September 8, 1913, to Sylvester and Mabel (Marshall) St. John in Cleveland, Ohio. Dorothy was a longtime member of St. Agnes Catholic Church and St. Catherine of Siena Parish. She loved music, dancing and the outdoors. Dorothy also loved to travel and take day trips. She often enjoyed tending to her African violets, tulips and tiger lilies.
