Born to George R Kellogg and Emeline Minerve Frost Russell. The youngest of five children. He married Anna Bertha Schneider on August 25, 1904 in Salt Lake City. George and Anna were able to save enough money to start out in the restaurant business. It was called the "Oregon Trail Lunch", located in Cokeville, Wyoming. Their children were Dorothy, Anna Mildred, Georgia Beatrice, Ruth Clements, Mabel Beth, Vera Lucille (Dolly), and Montry.
