Date: December 27, 1928

Mrs. Christian Josi, mother of Mrs. A. B. Weber of this city died at the Weber home on Christmas Day. Funeral services will be held at the First Evangelical Church by the Rev. B. O. Machman Friday afternoon, December 28, at 1 o'clock. Interment will be made in the Forest Hill Cemetery at Chippewa Falls.

Louise Housewirth was born in Gstaad, Switzerland, Aug. 31, 1851. She was married in Switzerland in March, 1878, to Christian Josi, and came to this country forty-five years ago accompanied by three sons, Albert, Christian, Jr., and Emil. One son died in Switzerland. During the first year in this country, they lived in Milwaukee and then located in Chippewa Falls where they lived until September, 1927, when they gave up their home and came to Minomonie to live with their daughter, Mrs. A. B. Weber.

Surviving are her husband, six sons, Albert of Holcombe, Christian Jr. of Deerfield, Emil and Ernest of Chicago, Sam of London, England and Alfred of Los Angeles, California; two daughters, Mrs. A. B. Weber of this city and Mrs. Alfred Biebighauser of Wate Park, Minn.; three sisters, Mrs. Lena Hathaway of Rice Lake, Mrs. Rosina Boward of Helena, Ga., and Mrs. Eliza Hallen in Switzerland; and twenty-one grandchildren.
