She graduated from Wintersville High School in 1977 and attended the University of Cincinnati's Conservatory of Music. Linda was a talented musician who taught many students to play the clarinet, saxophone and oboe.
She was involved in an automobile accident in 2001 leaving her a quadriplegic. The following year she organized a spinal cord support group called The Bright Side, which serves as both an educational and emotional aid for patients, and the group continues today.
Linda was preceded in death by her father William W. Wehr.
She is survived by her loving husband Leo Dunnigan, her mother and step-father Harry A. Chorpenning, and three children Diane, Stacey and Richard Burkhard. She leaves 2 brothers Michael (Sally) Wehr of Steubenville, OH and William W. (Marilyn) of New Castle, PA.
