Per Sacramento Bee article (10/29/1945) - Rose Natividad and five of her young children all died when the sedan Rose was driving skidded off the highway and plunged into an irrigation ditch in Solano County. The family was en route from their residence at 322 P Street in Sacramento to visit their husband/father, Lawrence Natividad, who was employed on the Meyer Ranch near Ryer Island. Rose's daughter Mary, not originally found in the ditch when the article was written, was also killed in the accident. To add to the tragedy, about 6 months earlier, Rose had lost a baby son; he is buried along with his mother Rose and siblings at St. Mary Cemetery in Sacramento.
