Martha's obit reads: Services for Martha E. Beatley, 94, formerly of Fort Boone Plaza, will be 10 a.m. Friday at Rogers Funeral Home. She died early Wednesday at Bluegrass Regional Medical Center. Burial will be in the Versailles Cemetery. A native of Mercer County, she worked in the Elkhorn School cafeteria for 29 years and was a member of Calvary Baptist Church. Survivors include a daughter, Betty Lohstroh, of Reading, Ohio; a son, Luther Beatley, Owensboro; a special friend, Velma Dempsey; 12 grandchildren; 29 great-grandchildren; and six great-great grandchildren.
