Mrs. Palmyra Grigsby (colored) died at a hospital in Kansas City Sunday morning where she had been confined for the past month. Her death was due to general debility. The remains were brought to Manhattan Monday afternoon and the funeral services conducted from the Second M.E. church. Interment was made in the city cemetery. Mrs. Grigsby was an old settler here and for many years did nursing in Manhattan. She was a good old lady, well liked and respected by all who knew her. Her husband, A .Grigsby, was formerly sexton of the city cemetery.
