William S. Krueger, veteran Wheeling blacksmith, died Monday in Evanston hospital after a long illness. Funeral services were held Thursday afternoon at Glenview Lutheran church with interment at Ridgewood.
Deceased was born June 18, 1876 in Glenview. His wife Bertha preceded him in death. Surviving are Mrs. Hulda Weidner, Libertyville; William L Krueger, Morton Grove; Mrs Agnes Roper, Palatine; Mrs Alice Utpadel, Wisconsin; Alfred, in the service; 6 grandchildren, 5 brothers and two sisters.

His middle initial was NOT S, that is a newspaper typo, but this all matches the information otherwise provided in the memorial.
