Mr. Stone, who died suddenly Monday of a heart attack while riding in a speed boat near Algonac, was 44 years old. He had been staying at his summer home at Pearl Beach, near Algonac, and was riding with his son William at the time of his death. A graduate of the University of Michigan, Mr. Stone did the concrete work on many of the Country's major bridges and dams.
He leaves his wife, Myrtle McClure Stone, and two sons, William and John. He lived at 1336 Berkshire Road, Grosse Pointe Park.
