Funeral services will be held Saturday, April 4, 2015 at an 11:00 a.m. Liturgy of the Word in Melancon Funeral Home in Grand Coteau for John L. Alleman, age 77, who passed away Wednesday, April 1, 2015 at St. Tammany Parish Hospital in Covington.

Interment will be in St. Charles Borromeo Cemetery in Grand Coteau. Deacon Jerry Wyble, will officiate at the services.

Mr. Alleman was a native of Sunset, a former resident of Lafayette, most recently a resident of Slidell for 44 years. He was a veteran in the military having served in the U. S. Navy.

Survivors include his wife of 50 years, Marion Richardson Alleman of Slidell; one son, John Byron Alleman and his wife, Kellie, of Pearl River; two daughters, Elizabeth Anne Bulot of Slidell and Jennifer Lee Alleman of Madisonville; four grandchildren, Richard John Bulot, IV, Johnathan Luke Bulot, Lauren Elizabeth Bulot and Marin Elizabeth Alleman; and one sister, Priscilla Huval and her husband, Hubert, of Lafayette.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Wilson "T-Black" Alleman and the former Hilda Savoie.

The family requests that visiting hours be observed from 9:00 a.m. Saturday and will continue until service time on Saturday.
