Lynette “Winstead” Linman, 90, of Chenoa died at 9:43 am, Wednesday, April 1, 2015 at Advocate BroMenn Medical Center, Normal.

Her funeral service will be 11:00 am, Saturday, April 4, 2015 at Duffy-Pils Memorial Home, Chenoa, with Pastor Jane Roeschley officiating. Burial will follow in Chenoa Cemetery, Chenoa. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service on Saturday also at the funeral home in Chenoa.

Mrs. Linman was born May 25, 1924, in Chenoa; the daughter of Walter and Myrtle (Neher) Johnson.

She married Charles B. Winstead on March 30, 1947. He died in 1983. Lynette later married Miloe Linman on April 11, 1975 in Marion, OH. He preceded her in death in 2007. Her parents and one brother, Bobby Johnson also preceded her in death.

In lieu of flowers the family suggests that memorials be directed to Meadows Mennonite Retirement Community, Chenoa.

Survivors include two daughters, Tianne (Ken) Roy of Springfield; Tamara (Lyle) Koons of El Paso; one son, Larry (Brenda) Winstead of McKinney, TX; one step-son, Larry (Judy) Linman, of Bourbonnais; one step-daughter, Linda (Dean) Zimmerman of Summerfield, FL; nine grandchildren, Jennifer (Andrew) Mailhes of Houston, TX; Cindy (Mark) McDavid of Santa Rosa Beach, FL; Cody Winstead of Chicago; Jason Lisak of El Paso; Ashley (Scott) Cronin of Ypsilanti, MI; and Amanda Ellen Lisak of London UK; Maggie Koons of Wichita, KS; Gary Koons of Manhattan, KS; Mary Kate Koons of Studio City, CA; 4 Step grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren, Mallory Lynette Mailhes, Grady Charles Cronin and Meredith Marie Cronin.

Lynette was a member of several McLean bridge clubs and McLean supper club and was very active in the Ben Funk community events. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
