Charles Wayne Adams, 61, of San Francisco, CA, formerly of Franklin, died at 8:30 am Wednesday in the US Public Health Hospital, San Francisco. He was born in Franklin Dec. 23, 1904, son of Frank and Blanche Cooper Adams. He left here about 30 years ago when he joined the Merchant Marines.
Surviving are a nephew, James Adams, Rocky Grove; and uncle, Roy Cooper, of Franklin; an aunt, Mrs. Fred Kreger of Florida; and a step-sister, Mrs. Arthur (Mildred) Dunn of Franklin. A brother, Chester Adams. died here in 1932.
Services will be at 11 am Tuesday with Rev. H. L. Knappenberger Jr., pastor of the First Methodist Church, officiating. Interment will be in Franklin Cemetery.
