Decatur -- Graveside service for Eva Mae Steeples Reeves, 89, of Decatur will be Saturday, April 4th, 2015, at 1 p.m. at Roselawn Cemetery with Brother Benny Sivley officiating and Roselawn Funeral Home directing.

Visitation will be Friday from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.

Mrs. Reeves died Tuesday, March 31st, 2015, at her residence. She was born April 17th, 1925, in Lawrence County to Frank and Omie Steeples. She was employed as a caregiver for many years, and attended Pleasant Hill Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, James Garvis Reeves; son, James David Reeves; and daughter, Sherlene Stricklin.

Survivors include her daughter, Shelby Johnson and husband, Johnny, of Trinity; daughter-in-law, Brenda Reeves of Hartselle; four grandchildren, Allen (April) Johnson and Amy (Micah) Putman, all of Trinity, Steve Reeves of Birmingham and Tim (Julie) Reeves of Hartselle; six great-grandchildren, Kara and Colton Putman, and Emma and Lake Johnson, all of Trinity; Darian Putman of Caddo; and Maddox and Sam Reeves of Hartselle.

Pallbearers will be Allen Johnson, Tim Reeves, Steve Reeves, Micah Putman and Darian Putman.
