Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Grace Whitehead of Seattle, Washington, two brothers, A. Lee Noble, Floydada, and Walter R. Noble, Floyd, NM one brother, Carl J., had preceded him in death.
Noble was born Jan. 5, 1872, in Collin county and moved to Crosby county in 1890. He passed away in Yakima, Wash., Jan. 10.[1949]
The deceased was married to Minnie Bolander of Sasketchewan, Canada. The couple reared two daughters and one son. Noble served as an officer on Admiral Dewey's flagship in the Spanish-American War. A member of the Cone Methodist church, his request was that his ashes be returned here to be buried beside his parents and other relatives.
Relatives and friends attending the rites included the brothers and their wives, Mr. and Mrs. John Noble and Mr. and Mrs. Russell Noble and families, of Tulia; Mr. and Mrs. Evert Harvey of Brownfield; Mr. and Mrs. Tom Ed Noble, Mr. and Mrs. John Hughes, Mrs. Ann Baze, Maggie Mallard, Mrs. Lizzie Ellis and Mr. and Mrs. Bob Noble and son, all of Lubbock; John Fawver, P.O. Sterling and W.H. Jenkins, all of Floydada; children of Olton, and Mr. and Mrs. Vincent Manning of Petersburg.
