David Arispe Sr. age 46, of Rocksprings, Texas passed away Sunday, March 29, 2015. He was born in Rocksprings, Texas, on February 20, 1969, to Jose S. Arispe Sr. and Amelia Gonzales Arispe.

Those left to honor and cherish his memory is his mother, Amelia Arispe; wife, Cynthia A. Arreola of San Antonio, TX; sons, Samuel Arreola of San Antonio, TX, David Arispe Jr. of San Antonio, TX; daughters, Mercedes Barrera and husband Antonio Barrera III of Poteet, TX, Roxanne Arispe of San Antonio, TX; grandchildren, Aamira N. Cuevas, Addison F. Cuevas, Alejandro S. Ortiz, and Anthony Rylan Barrera.

Those also left to honor and cherish his memory is his brothers and sisters, Jose Arispe, Jr. and wife Irma, Dominga Zamudio and husband Manuel, Fidencio Arispe and wife Martina, Rachel Rivera and husband Joel, Steven Arispe and wife Christina, David Arteaga; numerous nieces, nephews, and many friends.

He was preceded in death by his father, Jose Arispe Sr.; sister, Elizabeth Arispe; brother, Efrain Arispe; and grandmother, Jacinta Gonzales.

Our dad David Arispe, Sr. best known as (Kanicky); lived 46 years as a hardworking man, and also a loving father and grandfather, to his children and grandchildren. He was also a loving son and brother. He was born and raised in Rocksprings. He was respected by many but loved by all. Even though we did not see each other often, the love and bond was seen from afar. It was a bond that was indestructible. Dad we love you and we will miss you dearly, until we meet again! Dad you will never be forgotten! Your dreams, life and love will live on in us all.

Pallbearers include Samuel Arreola, Antonio Barrera III, Robert Trevino, Mercedes Barrera, Francisco (Paco) Ramirez III, and Victoriano (Tano) Ramirez.

A Funeral Mass will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, April 1, 2015, at Sacred Heart of Mary Catholic Church in Rocksprings, Texas, with Father Adrian Adamik officiating. Interment will follow in the Rocksprings Cemetery.

Arrangements are under the personal care of Nelson Funeral Home of Rocksprings, Texas.
