MESA, Ariz.- Word has been received of the death of Dale Eugene Alexander, 63, Mesa, Ariz. who died at 9 p.m. Feb. 21, at St. Luke's Medical Center, Phoenix.
He was born Sept. 4, 1927 in Keosauqua, the son of Arthur and Clara Alice Burns Alexander. He married Clara Leona Mohart on July 17,1949 in the Lutheran Church, Navoo.
Survivors include his wife; daughter, Sally Bulkley of Tempe, Ariz.; son Lane Alexander of Honolulu, Hawaii; sister Evelyn Ladwig of Kahoka; four grandchildren, other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, a sister, four uncles and two aunts.When he was a child, his family moved to Wyaconda where he spent his growing up years.
He entered the U.S. Navy and made a career of it. Following his retirement he settled in Mesa.
Memorial services were held Monday, Feb. 27, at the St. Peter Lutheran Church in Mesa.
