Funeral services were held in the Methodist church by Rev. G. E. Tindall yesterday afternoon and interment made in Kinkead cemetery. Mr. Sweet has always led a quiet, industrious life and succeeded in providing amply for the comfort of his family. He will be greatly missed by all those who knew him.
He was born in Amsterdam, N.Y., January 18, 1868 and at the time of his death was 49 years old. In 1899 he was married to Miss Mary Friet of Miltona, and from this union were born two children, Frankie and Frances, aged 14. He lost his parents when a mere child and was cared for by his uncle, Samuel Sweet of Minneapolis. He leaves to mourn his death his wife and his two children; two sisters, Mrs. Etta Hagland of Albany, N.Y., and Mrs. Lona Lape of Amsterdam, N.Y.; and two uncles, Peter Sweet of Alexandria and Samuel Sweet of Minneapolis.
