Mr. Jack E. Cowser, age 93 of Winnsboro, passed away on Saturday, April 30, 2022 in Winnsboro. He was born on November 11, 1928 in Commerce, Texas to the late Sam Cowser and Vera Stinson Cowser.
Jack was a rancher, longtime member of First United Methodist Church of Winnsboro. He served in the U.S. Navy during the Korean War and loved watching the Winnsboro Lady Raiders.
He was preceded in death by his loving wife, Gloria Cowser; brother, Bill Cowser and sister, Elizabeth Chitsey.
Survivors include his sons, Kevin Cowser of Dallas and Dean Cowser and his wife, Lorie of Graham; grandchildren, Wade, Jedd, Chad, Chase, Cara and Cambrie; great grandchildren, C.J., Ryan, Jax and Eleanor.
Visitation will be held on Monday, May 2, 2022 from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Beaty Funeral Home 816 W. Broadway Winnsboro, TX. Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday, May 3, 2022 at First United Methodist Church of Winnsboro 301 Church St Winnsboro, Texas at 10:00 am, Bro. Henry Suche conducting. Interment will follow at Cypress Cemetery in Winnsboro, with Chad Cowser, Chase Cowser, Jedd Cowser, Jerry Hearron serving as pallbearers.
