Death of Mrs. Milford
Mrs. A. E. Milford, aged 65, died suddenly at her home near the Standard Oil Company's plant early this morning, shortly after members of the household had discovered her in a dying condition when they entered her room to rouse her from sleep. Mrs. Milford expired before medical aid arrived. She had been in ill health for some time. The cause of her death is given as complications.
The remains will be taken to Five Points this afternoon for interment. Deceased was a step mother of Mrs. H. C. Peterson (143701397)and had been a resident of Opelika for years. She is survived by quite a number of relatives, among them Dr. Henderson Milford, of Five Points. - Opelika News, February 21.
The funeral of Mrs. Milford was held at the home of her son, Dr. H. A. Milford, at Five Points yesterday morning at 10 o'clock, conducted by Rev. A. C. Yeargan, of Lanett, and Rev. E. B. Redus, of Five Points.
Interment was in the Five Points Cemetery.
