A native of Burwell, Nebraska, Mr. Butcher came to California 22 years ago, residing in this county the past 16 years. He was a member of the Carpenter's Union, Local 586.
He was the husband of Ruth Butcher of Placerville; father of Daryol N. Butcher, with the U.S. Air Force; Delores Jean Lambrecht of North Bend, Neb., and Thomas J. Torres of Loomis; brother of George W. Butcher of Palmer, Neb.; Hubert H. Butcher of Ontario, Cal.; Lillian Bucholtz of Morse Bluff, Neb.; Earl Butcher of Gering, Neb.; Lloyd Butcher of Freemont, Neb.; Elma Siers of Omaha, Neb.; Vancy Butcher of Illinois, William Butcher of Washington state and Marie Williams of Denver, Colo. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren.
Remembrances may be left with Chapel of the Pines for the Heart fund."
