MRS. MAYME L. LOVE
Mrs. Mayme L. Love, formerly of 714 SE Bidwell St., died Monday at the White House Nursing Home. Her funeral will be Friday at 2 p.m. in Caldwell's Colonial Mortunary with private committal at Riverview Cemetery Crematorium.

She was born Jan. 12, 1882 at Omaha, Neb. and lived at Portland 75 years. She was a past president and charter member of Scout Young Auxiliary No. 3 of United Spanish War Veterans, past Oregon department president of the USWV auxiliary, secretary of Portland and Oregon USWV auxiliaries for about 20 years, member of Veterans of Foreign Wars Auxiliary No. 81, secretary of Portland Americanization Council and member of Rose City Chapter No. 86 Order of Eastern Star.

Survivors include one daughter, Mrs. Irene M. Whitmore, of Sherwood; one son, Roy B. of Lake Oswego; one sister, Mrs. Georgia Mellington, Portland; 7 grandchildren.
