Putnam Courier July 11, 1957 “Kelsie Hadden, a life long resident of Mahopac, died July 6, 1957 at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Charles MacDonald at Mahopac Falls. He had been in failing health for the past year. He age was 66. He attended the Mahopac School and served in WWI. After his discharge from the armed services he became a carpenter and followed that occupation until compelled to retire because of failing health. He was a charter member of the Mahopac Volunteer Fire Department, and a member of the carpenter’s union. Interment was in the family plot in the Ballard-Barrett Cemet
